Pass It On

Valentine’s Day is a holiday celebrated in many countries. This year we encourage you to give the gift of love and care.

There are many people who suffer from aches, pains, diseases and a number of health concerns.

These same people may think they have to live this way and that nothing can be done to help them.

Each day, chiropractors give relief to those suffering that may have thought there was no hope left for them. So many people might feel they’ve exhausted all their options without realizing that a chiropractor might be just what their body needs.

Think about passing it on and letting someone you know who could use better health know about the benefits of chiropractic care.

One small adjustment can make a huge impact on their daily lives. Think about your chiropractic success story and share it with someone. We’re here to help everyone!

Snap, Crackle, Pop

Woman's hands

We’ve all heard these noises before from someone stretching out their hands.

Others may have even warned you that your knuckle- cracking habit can lead to health concerns.

This common habit has a simple explanation.

The joints in your body have spaces between them. These spaces expand when you stretch your fingers out.

The pressure in the joint then decreases and the gasses are dissolved into fluids causing a release of pressure, like the sound created by opening a bottle of champagne.

The fluid returns to its proper place, popping the little bubbles of gas as the joint settles back into place. This is what causes the familiar cracking sound.

This explanation also comes with good news: cracking your knuckles has not been shown to lead to arthritis.

The movement can even feel good because when your joint stretches out, the nerve endings in your fingers are stimulated.

Build Your Heart Health

Heart with a band-aid

February is the perfect time to consider our heart health.

According to the World Health Organization, heart disease kills 17.3 million people annually.

This alarming statistic makes awareness of what we can do to help our hearts more important than ever.

Did you know that chiropractic care can support your cardiovascular function?

The five main risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease are high blood pressure, tobacco use, raised blood glucose, physical inactivity and being overweight.

You’re probably wondering–what does chiropractic have to do with these risks?

Chiropractic care may help normalize your blood pressure. In addition to this, your heart uses nerves to connect to the rest of your body. And chiropractic care supports your optimum nervous system health, giving it an even more direct connection to your overall health.

Think about your heart health and let us help you support it!
